An Extemporaneous Gathering of
Sherlock Holmes and all that Jazz!

Those in the know will recognize this as part of the beautiful skyline of Toledo, Ohio
While waiting for the meeting to begin, we assembled with our good Sherlockian friends, Tom and Janet Biblewski, at the ball park!

AND
The Toledo Mudhens come to bat! They win over Durham 4 -3!

Toledo, Ohio is the home of the internationally famous "Cakewalkin' Jass Band," shown here a playing at their previous venue, Tony Packo's restaurant.

So, since The Cakewalkin' Jass Band was no longer playing at Tony Packo's, we went in search of it. Our search lead us to Ragtime Rick's First Draught - A place which features some 400 different kinds of beer!
Rick (that is Ragtime Rick who owns the place) at the piano called the band together for the first set.

And how they played! Terrific music! Could this be a venue for a Sherlock Holmes and all that Jazz meeting?

Our Toledo host and hostess, Tom and Jan Biblewski (publishers of "The Baker Street Dispatch"), peruse the extensive menu at Ragtime Ricks.

Here, thanks to a passing volunteer photographer, is the entire Executive Board of SHAATJ assembled for this extemporaneous meeting of The Society. Left to right: Tom Biblewski; Janet Biblewski, Carolyn Senter, Joel Senter

So, will Toledo, OH be the next host city for SHAATJ? Will Ragtime Ricks be the venue?
The Executive Board is still in session. Please keep watching this web site for more news concerning Sherlock Holmes and all that Jazz!
