Our friend, Antony Richards (eminent
British Sherlockian, Chief Engineer of the Special Irregular Railway Co,.
Chief Inspector of the Inspector Morse Society), e-mailed us to say that
business (he is a crystalographer!?) was to bring him to visit the fair
city of Atlanta, GA. "Wow!" we said, "Wouldn't it be nice if we could
set up some sort of Sherlockian gathering to welcome "Sir Antony" to "The
Colonies." So, we e-mailed our friend, Rich Vitaris, who, along with our
other Atlanta buddy, Gord Shriver, (photo of these great guys, left and
center, with Mike Berdan from Lexington, VA, taken at St. Louis's fabulous
"The Weekend at Baskerville Hall") who, in turn, contacted the
membership of Atlanta's "Confederates of the Wisteria Lodge." The membership
thought it would be a neat idea to get together to meet "Sir Antony."
